WHEREAS, Mr. Joseph J. Lissick, 2466 Ariel
Avenue North, North Saint Paul, has made application to
the City of Saint Paul to connect this property more
specifically described as being Lot 21, Auditor's Sub-
division No. 86, to the Village of Maplewood public sewer
and thereby to the City of Saint Paul public sewer; and
WHEREAS, the existing City of Saint Paul
ordinances prohibit properties outside the City Limits
of Saint Paul to connect their sewer to the Saint Paul
sewer system, except as modified by ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the Corporation,Counsel of the City
of Saint Paul is now preparing- °said required ordinancetto
permit the property at 2466 Ariel Avenue North to connect
to the City sewer through the sewer of the Village of
Maplewood; and
WHEREAS, this resident of North Saint Paul is
confronted with the health,hazard of a home sewage disposal
system that is not presently functioning nor could be made
to function, except at great cost to the resident;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT

RESOLVED, that the Commissioner of Public Works
be hereby instructed to issue a permit for the connection
of said property in North Saint Paul to the sewer system
of Maplewood and thereby to the sewer system of Saint Paul,
informal approval of said connetion being given in antici-
pation of said ordinance.
