WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Saint Paul, on
March 16, 1955, approved a Preliminary Order regarding the
paving of Jackson Street between Second and Fourth Streets; and
WHEREAS, said Council, on February 7, 1956, approved
a Final Order regarding the above paving matter; and
WHEREAS, the award of contract represented in Council
File No. 180573, approved December 4, 1956, has been awarded,
authorizing City forces to do miscellaneous work prior to the
award of the paving contract; and
WHEREAS, it appears that present plans contemplate the
paving of Jackson Street between Shepard Road and Fourth Street
and this project extends the limits set by the above mentioned
orders; now, therefore, be it

hereby rescinds the orders approved by this body in
File 172330, approved March. 16, 1955, Council File 176690,
