Mortinson October $ 1962 COMMISSIONER ATE � i--1 '0 , WHEREAS, The Commissioner of Libraries, Auditorium, Museums and Stadia has reported in accordance with Section 53 of the City Charter, the existence of an emergency during the period from September 2nd through September 29, 1962 which rendered necessary the employ- ment of certain employees of the Department of Libraries, Auditorium, Museums and Stadia, Beau of Auditorium, for more than eight hours per day or forty hours per week in doing the following work: Operate ventilating systems, operate PBX switchboard, and supervise during the various events held in the building. and WHEREAS, This emergency arose by reason of the following facts and circumstances: No other trained help available to work during dances, meetings, auto shows and other events held in the building, this time includes Saturdays, Sundays and holiday. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the proper City Officers are hereby authorized to pay the employees who performed such work in accordance with thh provisions of the Council's Salary Ordinance No. 6446.
