RESOLVED* That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract Committee

(therefor and hereby awards contract for Widening and Paving Fairview Avenue from
St. Clair Avenue to.Summit Avenue (Mun. -State Aid Project #64- 132 -03) to ASHBACH
CONSTRUCTION CO. in accordance with City plans and specifications therefor hereto
attached and the Formal Bid-98793 of said Ashbach Construction Co. for the contract
price of $949441.55 (at unit prices bid), plus %ter Dept* Charges $2190 #00! plus
Engineering-$7555.321, p lus inspection $1888.83 and plus Lighting Bureau'bharges $50,00
Iby City forcest such bid being the lowest and said Ashbach Construction Company being
a reasonable and reliable bidders and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is
dipeeted to draw up the proper form of contract therefor, and the proper City officials
hereby are authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City of Saint Patel.
