RESOLVED, that the City of Saint Paul hereby accepts that
.;ertain deed of easement dated the 31st day of May, 1962, by
Phalen Center, Inc., as Grantor, unto said City of Saint Paul, as
Grantee, whereunder and whereby said Grantor has conveyed unto said
Grantee, a perpetual easement 20 feet in width for the purpose of
constructing and maintaining a public sewer and other public utilities
in, on, wider, across and through the north 20 feet of Geranium Avenue
(vacated) from Barclay Street to the east line of Maryland Heights, and
in, on, under, .across and through land embracing said vacated section
of Geranium Avenue, according to the official plat thereof on file and
of record in the office of the Register of Deeds in and for Ramsey
County, Minnesota; that the prior -deed of easement dated the 8th day of
May, 1962, mentioned in this Council's prior resolution, C. F. No. 207177,
approved May 11, 1962, hereby is deemed superseded by the hereinabove
mentioned deed of easement dated the 31st day of May, 1962, the latter
being, in essence, a necessary corrected deed of easement in respect
of the former; that said prior resolution hereby is superseded py this,
resolution; and that the City Clerk hereby is directed to cause paid
first above mentioned deed of easement to be recorded in the office,of
the Register of Deeds in and for Ramsey County, Minnesota.

Dear Sir:
Attached is a deed dated Mav 8, 1962, Grantor, Phalen Center, Inc.,
Grantee City of Saint Paul, conveving a certain easement described
in said deed as follows:
A perpetual easement twenty (20) feet in width for the
purpose of constructing and maintaining a public sewer
and other utilities in, on, under, across, and through
the north twentv (20) feet of Geranium Avenue (vacated),
said easement extending from Barclav Street to the west
line of Marvland Heights. Said perpetual easement as
granted hereunder affects that certain strip of land
embracing the north 20 feet of Geranium Avenue (vacated)
adjoining Lots 6, 72 82 9 and 10, Block 3, Marvland
Heights.
Said deed having been corrected, with corrections initialed by Mr.
Clayton G. Rein, President of Phalen Center, Inc. and said deed
herewith being delivered.
