RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing
Committee therefor and hereby awards contract for furnishing Sack Cement
for Various Departments of the City. of, St, Paul to J, L. HUGHES COMPANY in
accordance with City specifications and the Formal Bid 08761 of said
Js L. Hughes Company for the contract price of approximately $6 #463000 (at
unit prices bid)s contract to expire April 30* 1963, said J. Lo Hughes Company
being a reasonable and reliable bidders, andthe Corporation Counsel be and
hereby'is directed to draw up the proper form of contract therefor$ and
the proper City officials hereby are authorized to execute said contract-
on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
