RESOLVED, that upon the report and recommendation of
the Commissioner of Public Safety, the use of the Minnesota
Multiphasic Personality Inventory is hereby authorized in
connection with the entrance examination for the position
of Fire Fighter; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that proper City officials are
hereby authorized and directed to pay to Doctor Jack Merwin,
Assistant Professor of Educational Psychology, University of
Minnesota, the sum of Five Dollars ($5.00) per person, for all
candidates for the position of Fire Fighter upon whom said
Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory shall be adminis-
tered, said sum to represent full and complete compensation
for the furnishing of all materials, administering of the test,
and making of the profiles and analysis in conjunction therewith.
