A public hearing having been had upon the above improvement upon due notice, and the Council
having heard all persons, objections and recommendations relative thereto, and having fully considered
the same; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of St. Paul that the precise nature, extent and kind of im-
provement to be made by the said City is___ to_reconstruct the sidewalk on the east side of

approval; that upon said approval, the proper city officials are hereby authorized and directed to pro-
ceed with the making of said improoveem a ilk, ordance therewith._

The Commissioner of Public Works, having had under consideration the pre-
liminary order of the Council., known as Council File Noe 206634
approved April 3rd. 19 62 relative to reconstructing the sidewalk
on the east side of Bidwell St. from Baker St. to King St. and construct/
reconstruct sidewalk on the west side of Bidwell St. from Baker St. to
King St. and from King St. north approximately 150 feet.
and having investigated the matters and things referred to therein, hereby reports:
1. The estimated cost thereof is $ 0.52 per sq. ft. for .mono.. cone. walk
4" thick. Extra work (excay. , fill, cone. rem' d, root cutting, drive a
crossings, etc.) at extra cost.

We- received your notice regarding the construction of }.
a sidewalk on the west side of Bidwell Street Qne- hundred- and ` -
fifty feet no-_h from Kina Street
_ This is rather -a new home and-w6 have really just- I�
gotten the,sod well started and would hate very much to have it (i
worked upon at•this time.' We have also had curbing installed t
around the whole, corner.'` It is very level'and would not -seem
to be hazardous. "
We invite you to look at it if you have the time and
care to do so and-.let us know if this part of the- _project could
be'po,st -poned for-the present time. ;
