RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract Committee
'therefor and hereby awards contract for the Grading and Improvement of Ruth Street
from Upper Afton Road to Larry So Drive;.and Larry Bo Drive from Ruth Street to
Michael Street! Powers Avenue from Michael Street to Winthrop Street; and Mitchell
Avenue from Michael Street to Winthrop.Street, Michael Street,from Upper Afton Road
to Larry Ho Drive; and-Larry'Bo Drive from Michael Street to McKnight Road; Also
Construct the Battle Creek Baights Addition'Sewer System; and Construct a Public
Sanitary Sewer in Ruth Street from Larry Bo Drive to Upper Afton Road,to
BEATSON & KELLY in accordancexrnith City plans and specifications therefor hereto
attached and the Formal Bid W8785 for the contract price of $66,581.86& plus
$1331964 Inspection and plus $5326.55 Engineering by City Forces, such bid being the
lowest and said Beatson & Kelly 'abeingrreasonable and reliable bidders, and the
Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper fors of contract
therefor, and the proper City officials hereby are authorized to esdeute said contracl
on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
