WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul has prepared plans and
specifications for the construction of a combination storm and
sanitary sewer system to be located along 14th Street and
Bruno Street commencing at an existing City combination storm
and sanitary sewer system at 14th and Mississippi Streets and
thence proceeding easterly to the City's existing "Trout Brook"
Sewer for a distance of approximately 1900 lineal feet, which
improvement is known as the 14th Street "Broadway Relief"
Sewer; and
WHEREAS, in addition -to providing sewer facilities for areas
of the City in the afore - described location, said sewer system
has been increased in size and capacity so as to serve and drain
a portion of Trunk Highway No. 35E, which drainage is known as
State Project 6280 -82 and Bureau of Public Roads Project, Minn.
Project I 35E -4 (38) 115, and it is desired and agreed by the
City of Saint Paul, State of Minnesota and Bureau of Public
Roads that the State of Minnesota share in the expense of con -
structiori of -the aforemen ion- sewers and in the cost of engin-
eering and designing said sewer, and the;State of Minnesota has
agreed to pay to the City of Saint Paul a sum equal to 21.7 per
cent of the construction cost of said sewer together with a
sum equal to 6 per cent of said construction cost, said latter
sum to be the State of Minnesota's proportionate share of the
engineering costs incurred by the City in connection with said
project, all in-accordance with a certain agreement hereto
attached and madeaa part hereof by reference and known as Agreement
No. 53180,
Now, Therefore, be it
