Dear Council Members:
The Car Mileage Committee held a meeting on Friday morning,
May 18, 1962 and considered the following requests in ac-
cordance with Ordinance No. 11542.
DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION AND PUBLIC BUILDINGS
A request signed by Commissioner Frank L. Loss was for the
removal of the following from B Mileage, effective May 1,
1962.
Chas. S. Daly, Sr.
Plumbing Inspector $45 max. Retired 6 -30 -59
L., Martin Olson
Plaster Inspector $75 max. Deceased 3 -26 -62
Roy Nicholson
Building Inspector $75 max. Resigned 9 -18 -61
The Committee recommends favorable action by the Council, which
will remove these names.
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS
A request signed by John J. Eichinger,'approved by W. P. Beh-
rens, for cancellation of B mileage for the following was con-
sidered:
Arthur Friedl
Provisional Foreman $75 max. Effective 4 -30 -62
Mr. Friedl is no longer acting as foreman. The Committee there-
fore recommends that this name be removed from the list.

signed by Commissioner Rosen, requested B mileage for the fol-
lowings

These men have been appointed as foremen and in the performance
of their duties, it will be necessary for them to use their
cars. The Committee recommends that the Council authorize
this mileage.
