07-84Council File # tl7— g Green Sheet # 3036293 RESOLUTION AINT PAUL, MINNESOTA /� ...,:, � 10 11 12 13 14 15 R'HEREAS, the Human Resources Department is in neecl of the services of a labor relations consuhant pursuant to §23.03(1) of the Saint Paul Administrative Code to assist in training managers in Labor Re]ations and to provide expert advice concerning labor negotiations and interactions with the Bureau of Mediation Services; and WHEREAS, Frank Madden is a recognized expert in the area and has agreed in the past to provide these services pursuant to the terms of the attached agreement that was adopted by the City Council on September 14, 2005, Council File No. OS-837; and WHEREAS, the City proposes to e�ctend this original contract under the same terms for a total expenditure not to excced $ I5,000; and now therefare be it RESOLVED, that the City Council hereby approves the extension of the contract with Frank Madden as Labor Relations Consultant and authorizes the appropriate City officials to sign this e�ension contract on behalf of the City.
