COMMISSIONER
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul, by and through its
Department of Parks, Recreation$ and Public Buildings,,has
entered into a Contract with Harvey Whipps and Francis Kortzan
doing business as St. Paul Sheet Asphalt Company, which contract
was made and entered into on the 4th day of September, 1962, and
which contract refers to the bituminous surfacing of particular
platforms at the Como Park Conservatory in said City; and
WHEREAS, that as a part of the-general specifications of
said contract certain insurance, to -wit: public liability and
automoblie liability insurance policies in specific limits are
required; and
WHEREAS,-said contract has been fully performed by said
contractor to the satisfaction of the aforesaid department; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the general specifications, which are a -
part of said contract, may be and hereby are specifically amend-
ed insofar as the limits of certain insurance policies required
thereunder are concerned, and that substituted in place of the
insurance limits required in said general specifications shall
be the-following limits: under general liability, bodily in-
jury - -$50,000_per person and $100 000 per accident; property
damage - $10,000 per accident and 25,000 aggregate operations;
under automobile,- ,,b oodily injury 50,000 per person and $100,000
per accident and property damage $10,000; and
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the proper officers of the City of
Saint Paul are hereby authorized, in view of the within amendment
of said general specifications in relation to this particular
contract, authorized to make payment of the contract sum to said
St. Paul Sheet Asphalt Company.
