RESOLVED, that United Stags Gypsum Company,
pursuantl.'Utbofws per-
?Aj% '- application, hereby is granted permission and authority to
construct and maintain on Tft subject premises, for security purposes,
a 6 -feet high cyclone type of fence topped by three strands of barbed
wire, in accordance with the hereby approved plans therefor, prepared
by said Company and filed herewith, and subject to the additional
requirement that such barbed wire topping, as installed and maintained on
such fence, along and adjacent to .abutting railroad trackage, shall be
slanted inward in respect of the subject premises; and
RESOLVED FURTHER, that, prior to the construction of said
fence, said Company shall procure all necessary building permits and
otherwise make due compliance with applicable ordinances of the City
of Saint Paul and Statutes of the State of Minnesota.

application of United States Gypsum Co. for permission to construct a

Gentlemen:

You referred to this office a request of the United States
Gypsum Company for permission to construct a six foot high
cyclone type fence with three strands of barbed wire on top.
An examination has been made of the site and the applicant
has been interviewed. It is recommended permission be
granted for this fence, with the stipulation that the barbed
wire on top of the fence be slanted inwards along the rail-
road tracks, and the applicant should be advised that a
permit is required in addition to the permission given.
