WHEREAS, The City Comptroller has reported in accordance with Section 53
of the City Charter, the existence of an emergency during the period
from November 16, 1962 to November 30, 1962 which rendered necessary
the employment of certain employees of the City Comptrollerl's office
for more than eight hours per day or forty hours per week in doing
the f allowing work:
Audit additional payrolls; process additional payrolls
on the payroll machine; verify payrolls and prepare list
for Ramsey County Machine Accounting as authorized by
Council File No., 208547, Qrdkance 12289
AND S,h[ M AS, This emergency arose by reason of the following facts and
circumstances:
Could not be handled by untrained personnel
THEREFORE BE IT RKSOLVED,, THAT the proper city officers are hereby
authorized to pay the employees shown on the attached list, who performed
such work in accordance with the provisions of the Council•ts salary
drdinance, Na. 6446.
