RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing
Committee therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering to
the Department of Public Utilities, Bureau'of Lighting, Warehouse, 100 E. 10th
Street, Saint Paul, Minnesota, 600 Cast Aluminum Fixture Heads, to GENERAL
ELECTRIC SUPPLY COMPANY in accordance with City specifications and the Formal
Bid #9010 of said General Electric Supply Company for the contract price of
$6,510.00, such bid being one of identical bids and said General Electric
Supply Company being a reasonable and reliable bidder and the Corporation
Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper form of contract therefor,
and the proper City officials hereby are authorized to execute said contract on
behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
