PAUL 6, MINNESOTA Clerks YOR'S OFFICE AM N OV 2 0 1°M FM November 17, 1962 Dear Sirs: - We have noticed that more ordinances regarding reciprical deals between Minneapolis and St-Paul have been Introduced. We will never go along -- with an$r such rules and regulations, high license fee eta. that--Minneapolis has as they are all for one reason; and that is to regulate competition. We feel that if an auotioneer does not adhere to or do right in his bus - ness his state license can be revoked and that there is no need for local police or others to have to take up - there and the taxpayers time dealing on such. Legislation to this effect will be introduced in the next'Legislature so we suggest that all further or- dinances be tabled untill this is presented to the Legislature. If this is acted upon we would like to appear before the council to further explain our position.
