In the Matter of reconstructing the sidewalk on the north side of 12th St. from -
Cedar St. to Minnesota St., on the west side of Minnesota St. from 12th St. to " '
Columbus Ave., on the south side of Columbus Ave. from Minnesota St. to Cedar St.,
and on thEbast side of Cedar St. from Columbus Ave. to 12th St. abutting the
property known as the National Guard Armory
under Preliminary Order 2o4983 approvefovember 30; 1961
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is to reconstruct the
sidewalk on the north side of 12th St. from Cedar St. to Minnesota St., on the west
side of Minnesota St. from 12th St. to Columbus Ave., on the south side of Columbus
Ave. from Minnesota St. to Cedar St., and on the east side of Cedar St. from Columbus
Ave. to 12th St. abutting,the property known as the National Guard Armory
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ .65 per so, ft. for 51' mono.conc.walk.
(Excay., fill,conc. remtd., root cutting, drive crossings, etc. at extra cost.)
Resolved Further, That it 20th public hearing be had on said improvement on the day of
February, 1962 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A. M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
