RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul,
that the proposed contract, herewith exhibited, to be executed
between the City of Saint Paul and the Chicago, Milwaukee,
St. Paul and Pacific Railroad Company, among other things,
pertaining thereto and providing for the construction by said
City of a highway on Elway Street extended southerly from Mon-
treal Avenue, in the City of Saint Paul, crossing the tracks
and right of way of said Railroad Company by means of a highway
underpass bridge also to be constructed by said City and further
providing for the maintenance of said bridge and its approaches
and other matters germane thereto, hereby is approved and the
execution of the same in behalf of said City by its proper
officers hereby is authorized and directed subject only to
the approval of the same as to form by the Corporation Counsel
