RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee

therefor, and hereby awards•contract for furnishing and delivering to the Department of
Public Works, Bureau of Traffic Control, Traffic Sign Shop, 666 E. Third Street,. St, Paul,
Minnesota - 1400 gallons White and 300 Gallons Yellow °fCenterlite" brand Reflective
Paint, 600 .series, in 5- gallon drums, to MINNESOTA MINING AND MANUFACTURING COMPANY
in accordance with City specifications therefor hereto,attached and the Formal Bid #8413
of said Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing Company for the contract price of
approximately $5005,00 (at unit prices bid), City reserving the right to purchase
up to an additional fifteen per cent of the quantities indicated at unit prices bid,
such bid being the lowest per day of useful life meeting City specifications and said
Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing Company being a reasonable and reliable bidder and
'the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is authorized to draw up the proper form of
contract therefor and the proper City officials are hereby directed to execute said
contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
