RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee
therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnisl}ing and delivering to the Department of
Public Works, Bureau of Traffic Control, Traffic Sign 'Shop, 656 E. Third Street, St. Paul,
Minnesota,12800 gallons White Non - reflective Paint, XI -851 in 5- gallon drums, to
FARWELL, OZMUN; KIRK &. COMPANY, PAINT MFG. DIVISION, in accordance with City specifications
therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid #8412 of said Farwell, Ozmun, Kirk & Company,
Paint Mfg. Division, for the price of $2,.63 per gallon, making amount of contract,
approximately $7,364.00 (City reservjng�,the right to purchase up to an additional fifteen
per cent of same at unit price bid) such bid being the lowest per day of useful life
meeting City specifications, and said Farwell, Ozmun, Kirk & Company,, Paint Mfg, Division,
being a reasonable and reliable bidder, and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is
authorized to draw up the proper form of contract therefor and the proper City officials
are hereby directed to execute said contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
