WHEREAS, Northern States Power Company has,,on December 1,
1961, given notice to the City of Saint Paul thattw certain contracts
entered into on December 8, 1941, and mutually extended to the present
date will be terminated on May 31, 1962; and
WHEREAS, the aforementioned contractswhich We the subject of
said notification of termination called for the supplying of steam
to both the Public Library and the Saint Paul Auditorium and it is
necessary and desirable that said steam supply be continued in effect
to both the Public Library and the Saint Paul Auditorium; now, therefore,
*be it
RESOLVED, That the-Commissioner of Libraries, Auditorium, Museums
and Stadia and the Mayor of the City of Saint Paul are hereby authorized
and directed to execute on behalf of the City of Saint Paul, Application
for Steam Service for both the Public Library and the Saint Paul
Auditorium, said service to be supplied at the rates heretofore
approved by the City Council and said Application to be made on a
form approved by the Corporation Counsel.
