Dear Madam:
This is in the matter of the request of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Gullberg
to withdraw their zoning appeal concerning the establishment of a
35 foot building line from Hoyt Avenue on property located at the
'southwest corner of Hoyt and pinthrop Avenues and a refund of the
$20.00 fee paid.
The Board of Zoning considered this request at their regular meet-
ing on December 21, 1961, and recommend the granting of the request
for witbdrawl and refund inasmuch as the City Architect had ruled
that the appeal was not necessary.

On November 11, 1961, we, Mr. and Mrs.
Arnold Gullberg, applied for a permit to build
• 741x28' home 35' from the city curb line on
• now vacant 70'x220' lot located on the South-
west corner of Hoyt Avenue and Winthrop Avenue.
The Legal Description of the property is:
The East 70' and the North 220' of Lot I, Block 8
calle urness Gardens.
We hereby request that you permit us to
withdraw our appeal.
The City Architect has advised us that a
building permit would be issued to us on a 40'
set back 'from the city curb line, if that is
acceptable to us.
In that the 40' set back is acceptable to
us, we hereby request that our appeal be with-
drawn and that the $20;00 filing fee needed to
apply for this ippeal be refunded to us.
