A public hearing having been had upon the above improvement upon due notice, and the Council
having heard all persons, objections and recommendations relative thereto, and having fully considered
the same; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of St. Paul that the precise nature, extent and kind of im-
provement to be made by the said City is to change the grade of the East and West alley from
Chatsworth St. to the vacated North and South alley in D. W. Moorets,Addition, also
grade and surface with bituminous material the East and West alley.fr'om Chatsworth
St. to the vacated North and South alley and the North and South alley from Thomas
Ave. to the East and West alley in D. W. Moorets Addition, also install a storm
sewer in the East and West alley from 110 ft. West of Chatsworth St., to the existing
sewer in Chatsworth St.
and the Council hereby orders said improvement to be made.
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Commissioner of Public Works be and is hereby instructed and
directed to prepare plans and specifications for said improvement, and submit same to the Council for
approval; that upon said approval, the proper city officials are hereby authorized and directed to pro-
ceed with the making of said improvement ' cordance therewith.

I transmit herewith preliminary estimate of cost for changing
the grade of the East and West alley from Chatsworth Street1to the
vacated north and south alley in D. W. Moore's Addition. Also grade
and surface with bituminous material the east and west alley from
Chatsworth Street to the vacated north and south alley and the north
and south alley from Thomas-Ave. to the East and west alleylin D. W.
Moore's Addition. Also install a storm sewer in the east and west
alley from 140 feet west of Chatsworth Street to the existing sewer
in Chatsworth Street, under Preliminary Order C. F. 204650, 'approved
