WHEREAS, the Chicago and Great Western Railway Company
has made application to the Interstate Commerce Commission for
authorization to discontinue its passenger trains Nos. 5 and 6
now operating between Saint Paul and Kansas City;.and
WHEREAS, a hearing on said application has'been
scheduled before the Interstate Commerce Commission on February 7,
1962, at 9:30 a.m. at the Federal Courts Building in the City of
Saint Paul; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Council hereby authorizes and directs
the Corporation Counsel to appear at said hearing and participate
in same as its interest may appear.
