RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee
therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering Cast Iron Water
Pipe Special Castings, 16" and under, to the Water Department, Hamline and Carroll
Avenues, St. Paul, Minnesota, to MUNICIPAL SUPPLY COMPANY, INC. in accordance with
City specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid #8627 of said
Municipal - Supply Company, Inc. for the contract price of $19,276.26 (Board of Water
Commissioners reserving the right to increase any individual item of the materials
of the contract by an amount not to exceed 20% of the quantity indicated for that item),
such bid being the lowest and said.Municipal Supply Company, Inc. being a reasonable
and reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw
up the proper form of contract theretor, and the proper City officials-hereby are
authorized.to execute said contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
