PAUL COUNCIL NO. _ OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK FILE 'COUNC TIO - GENERAL FORM WHEREAS, The Commissioner of Libraries, Auditorium., Museums and Stadia has reported in accordance with Section 53 of the City Charter, the existence of an emergency during the period from June 3rd through July 26, 1962 which rendered necessary the employment of certain employees of the Department of Libraries, Auditorium, Museums and Stadia, Bureau of Auditorium, for more than eight hours per day ,or forty hours per week in doing the following works Operate ventilating systems, operate PBX switchboard and supervise during various events held in the building. - and WHEREAS, This emergency arose by reason of the following facts and circumstances: No other trained help available to work during high school commencements, road shows and Pop Musical Ice Revue concerts held in the building, this time includes Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the proper City Officers are hereby authorized to pay the employees who performed such work in accordance with the provisions of the Councilts Salary Ordinance No. 6446.
