WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Libraries, Auditorium, Museums, & Stadia
has reported in accordance with Section 53 of the City Charter
the existence of an emergency during the period from July 1 to
31, 1962, inclusive, which rendered necessary the employment
of certain employees in the Department of Libraries, Auditorium,
Museums & Stadia, Bureau of Public Libraries, for more than
eight hours per day or forty hours per week in doing the follow-
ing work:
(1) Covering Bookmobile schedule, and 2) Emptying Book
Return Box on 4 July and we:ekt�ends.
AND WHEREAS, this emergency arose by reason of the following facts, and
circumstances:
Covering Bookmobile schedule and emptying Book Return Box,
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the proper City officers are hereby author-
ized to pay the employees who performed such work in accordance
with the provisions of the Council's Salary Ordinance No. 6446.
