more particularly described•'as the South 100 feet of Lot 17;and. al1
of Lot 18, Block lg, Summit Park Addition, in accordance with plans
;approved July 5, 1962, subject to all applicable provisions of the
Saint Paul.Leaislative Code, subject also to the provision that
sidewalks ,abutting the premises be kept clean and free of ice and
snow at 'all times.

Dear Madam:
This is in the matter of the application of the McDonald
Motor Sales for a permit to enlarge an existing used car
sales'lot on property located on the north side of Grand
Avenue between Avon and Victoria Streets and described as
the south 100 feet of Lot 17 and all of Lot 18, Block 18,
Summit Park Addition. The property is zoned commercial.
The land is presently vacant and the applicant proposes to
integrate it with the existing used car'lot which will pro-
vide a sales lot for 35 new or used cars. The oombined
lots have a street frontage of 80 feet on Grand Avenue and
a total area of 9,900 square feet. The area uses are commer-
cial with the exception of an apartment building and two
single - family residences to the south across Grand Avenue.
Field investigation discloses that the expanded facility
will not have a detrimental effect on the area. The Traffic
Engineer has approved the plan which meets the standards for
this type of fac
