Miller for ,a permit to install and operate a used car sales lot on property located on the west side of Arcade Street between Jessamine and Magnolia Avenoes and described as Lots land 2, Block 24, Oakville Park Addition except the north 41 feet thereof. The pro- perty is zoned commercial. The property is the site of an abandoned filling station structure and is being used as a used car sales lot. The purpose of the application is to secure Council approval of the site for the used car sales operation. The pro- perty has a frontage of 80 feet on Arcade Street and ex- tends to a depth of 80 feet resulting in an area of 6,400 square feet. To.the north, east and south are commercial uses which front on Arcade Street; west and adjoining are the rear yards of single - family residences which front on Jessamine Street. Field investigation discloses no basic objection to the proposal. The Traffic Engineer has approved the plan which meets.the.standards for this type of facility. In consideration of the above factors, the Board of Zon- ing recommends the application for a used car sales lot on the above described property in accordance with plans dated June 19, 1962.
