RESOLUTION
NT PAUL, MINNESOTA
WHEREAS, Minn. Stat. Sec. 13D.03 Subd. 1(b) pmvides that a governing body of a public
employer may by majority vote in a public meeting decide to hold a closed meeting to consider strategy for
labor negotiations; and

5 WHEREAS, it is necessary for the Council of the City of Saint Paul to meet and discuss various
6 labor negotiation issues for the present term of negotiations; now therefore

8 BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul hereby agrees to hold a closed
9 meeting to consider strategy for labor negotiations pursuant to the provisions of Minn. Stat. Sec. 13D.03
10 Subd. 1(b) said meeting to be held on February 7, 2007 at 2:40 p.m in the Northwest Conference Room,
11 Room 310 City Hall; and

13 BE IT FLIRTHER RESOLVED, that the proceedings ofthe closed meeting be taped and that such
14 tape shall be preserved in accordance with Minn. Stat. 13D.03 Subd. 2.
