RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee
therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering to the
Department of Public Works, Bureau of Municipal Equipment, 891 North Dale Street,
Saint Paul, Minnesota, Four 1962 Ford F -250 Stylesides Express Type Trucks to
MIDWAY FORD COMPANY in accordance with City specifications therefor hereto attached
and the Formal Bid #8871 of said Midway Ford Company, at a cost of $7,488.00 less
allowance of $700.00 for 1953 International Dump Truck to be taken in trade,
making net amount of contract $6,78800, such bid being the lowest and said

be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper form of contract therefor, and the
proper City officials hereby are authorized to execute said contract on behalf
