A public hearing having been had upon the above improvement upon due notice, and the Council
having heard all persons, objections and recommendations relative thereto, and having fully considered
the same; therefore, be it ,
RESOLVED, By the Council,of the City of St. Paul that the precise nature, extent and kind of im-
provement to be made by the said City is to construct new 5 foot sidewalk on the west side
of Davern St. from Yorkshire Ave, to the south approximately 132 feet abutting the
property known as 997 Davern Street.
and the Council hereby orders said improvement to be made.
RESOLVEDIFURTHER, That the Commissioner of Public Works be 'and is hereby instructed and
directed to prep re plans and specifications for said improvement, and submit same to the Council for
approval; that 4on said approval, the proper city officials are hereby authorized and directed to pro-
ceed with the making of said improvement in accordance therewith.

The Commissioner of Public Works, having had under consideration the pre-
liminary order of the Counci12 known as Council File No. 207181
approved May 11th, 19 62 relative to construct new 5 ft, side-
walk on the west side of Davern St, from Yorkshire Ave, to the south
approximately 132 ft, abutting the property known as 997 Davern St
and having investigated the matters and things referred to therein, hereby reports:
1. The estimated cost thereof is $0.52 per sq. ft. -for mono.. cone, walk
4" thick. Extra work(excay., fill, cone. rem'd, root cutting, drive
crossings, etc.) at extra cost.
2. A plan, profile or sketch of said improvement is hereto attached and made
apart hereof,
3. Initiated by the Commissioner of Public Works
4. Improvement is asked for upon petition X
