That at all times aaid permittee shall provide clear passage space on all of the afresaid public sidewalk areas adjacent to the curb line, for safe pedestrian travel. 2. That said permittee shall, under the supervision of'said Commissinners, thoroughly clean and make complete restoration of said public sidewalk areas immediately following said permitted use of the same hereunder. 3. That said permittee shall fully protect,defend, and indemnify the City of Saint Paul, its officers, agents, servants, and employees against all liability on account of injury to person or property occasioned by or connected with the exercise of this permit for the use thereunder of any subject public sidewalk area. 4. That said permittee, by its written acceptance of this resolution filed with the City Clerk of said City prior to July 20, 1962, shall become and be bound unto said City�for the full and faithful performance of all of the provisions terms, and conditions of this resolution thereby provided to be performed by it. ' 5. Said permittee, at its own cost and expense, shall procure and maintain,64-, during the life of said permit, public liability casua1by:ainsurance coverage indemnifying said permittee and said City, and the officers, agents, servants, and employees of the latter against any and all liability on account of injury to person and /or property resultant from the exercise of said permit, in the amount of $250,000 on account of personal injury occasioned by a single accident, and in the amount of $25,000 on account of injury to property occasioned by a single accident, approved by the Corporation Council of said City, and evidence the same by proper documents filed with the Comptroller of said City on or before said date. On behalf of the Payne Avenue Businessmen, I request that the Council permit the Payne Avenue Business Association to use the public sidewalks on Payne Avenue for a sale which is to be conducted July 20 and 21, 1962. This annual request has been permitted by the Council in previous years, and your favorable consideration will be sincerely appreciated.
