Schumann Bros., said contract for Painting at the Hamline, -
Merriam Park and Riverview Libraries, St. Paul, Minnesota,
and said extra to cover one additional coat of paint to the'-
ceiling ofthe kitchen at the Riverview Branch Library, this
work having been requested by the Commissioner of Libraries,
Auditorium, Museums And Stadia and agreement made with the
contractor and memorandum of said agreement having been
filed with the comptroller and countersigned by him.

Dear Sir:
Contract No. G -2769 was awarded Schumann Bros. for painting at
the Hamline, Merriam Park and Riverview Branch Libraries,
St. Paul, Minnesota.
During the course of the work it was found necessary to apply
one additional coat of paint to the ceiling of the kitchen at
the Riverview Branch Library and at the request of the Commis-
sioner of Libraries, Auditorium, Museums And Stadia, negotia-
tions have been conducted with the contractor who agrees to
do this additional work for the sum of $15.00.
This is a reasonable amount for the labor and material involv-
ed, and it is therefore requested that a resolution be submit-
ted to the Council authorizing an extra in the amount of $15.00
to cover this work.
