PAUL COUNCIL NO. 111 /// y�����JJJ'L/ _ OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK I RES TION— GENERAL FORM PRESENTED BY COMMISSIONS DATE WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Public Utilities has reported, in accordance with Section 53 of the City Charter, the exis- tence of an emergency during the period from August 1,. 1962 to August 15, 1962 inclusive which rendered necessary the employment of certain employees of the Department of Public Utilities for more than eight hours per day or forty hours per week in doing the following work: Supervising the activities of the City Market, Making emergency repairs to street lighting circuits, Making aiii pollution tests, and WHEREAS, this emergency arose by reason of the following facts and circumstances: Saturday work made necessary because of increased activity at the City Market, Overtime work required to restore street lighting service immediately for public safety, Work necessary at irregular hours to complete tests for federal agency, RESOLVED, COUNCILMEN Yeas Nays oC9- Holland Less - Mortinson Peterson Rosen Mr. President, Vavoulis 5M 6_61 therefore, be it that the proper city officers are hereby authorized to pay the employees who performed such work in accordance with the provisions of the Council's Salary ordinance, Ordinance No. 6446.
