.Addition, in Saint Paul, in accordance with plans-approved
July 19, 1962, subject to all .applicable provisions of the Saint
Paul Legislative Code and also to the provision that sidewalks abutting

application of Wayne A. Otteson, dba Wayne's Truck Sales, for permit to
install and operate a 50 unit Used Truck Sales Lot on property at the
northeast corner of Curfew and University, being Lots 14, 15 and the West
30' of 13, Block 2, Twin City Addition, in accordance with plans approved
July 19, 1962.

Dear Madam:
This is in the.matter of the application of Wayne's Truck
Sales for a pemit to install and operate a 50 unit used
truck sales lot'on property located at the northeast corner
of Curfew Street and University Avenue and described as
Lots 14, 15 and the west 30 feet of Lot 13, Block 2, Twin
City Addition. The property is zoned light and heavy industry.
The site is presently vacant and has a frontage of 83.44 feet
on Curfew Street and 85 feet on University Avenue and an area
of, approximately 13,796 square feet. The adjacent and surround-
ing area uses are industrial in character. Field investigation
discloses that the driveway is not owned or leased by the appli-
cant, but that the H. J. Heinz Company uses and holds an option
to purchase said driveway. The applicant has stated that he has
received permission to use the drive. A letter from the property
owner and the H. J. Heinz Company has been received and filed
with the application requesting that no bumpers or barriers be
placed in the driveway.
The Traffic Engineer has approved the plan which meets the
standards for this type of facility.
In consideration of the above factors, the Board of Zoning
recommends the granting of the permit for a 50 unit used truck
sales lot on the above described property in accordance with
plans approved July 19,1962.
