In the Matter of opening, widening and extending the proposed ARCH - PENNSYLVANIA
HIGHWAY by condemning and taking the following described parcel cP lend, all in the
City of Saint Paul.
(Except the east 5 feet for alley) the south one -half of Lot 5, Block 6,
Fletcher's Subdivision of Brewsters Addition to the City of St. Paul.
under Preliminary Order 208237 Approved Zuly 39 ? 962
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is to open, widen and
extend the proposed ARCH - PENNSYLVANIA HIGHWAY by condemning - mn nd taking the following
described parcel of land, all in the City of St. Paul.
(except the east 5 feet for alley) the south one -half of Lot 5, Block 6,
Fletcher's Subdivision of Brewsters Addition to the City of St. Paul*
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 6'250'00
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the lith day of
September, 1962 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A. M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
