In the Matter of condemning and taking for the future expansion of the Wheelock
School by the Board of Education the following described land: That part of the SEA

St., and on the southwesterly by the center line of Little Canada Road.

The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
Tthe nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is to condemn and take
for he expansion of the Wheelock School by the Board to Education the following
described land: That part of the SEu of the IQ4 in Section 20, Township 29, Range
22, bounded on the north by Hoyt Ave,, onthe east by a line 205 feet west of and
Parallel with the center line of Edgerton St., and on the wouthwesterly by'the center
line of Little Canada Road.
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 7,8W_00
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the nth day of
September, 396 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A. M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
