WHEREAS, under and pursuant to Ordinance No. 11542, approved
August 4, 19'59, the Car Allowance Committee provided for in Sec -
tion 5, has reported its findings and recommendations in a letter
dated August 13, 1962, and
WHEREAS, the Council has made a study of said report and recom-
mendation, therefore be it
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul that the
employee listed below shall be entitled to and receive mileage
allowance as follows:

Gentlemen:
The Car Mileage Committee has processed a request for mileage
for the following:
DEPARTMENT OF :PARKS AND RECREATION AND PUBLIC BUILDINGS
A letter signed by Commissioner Loss requested that George
Smolik, Electrical Inspector, be placed on C mileage effec-
tive July 18, 1962 with a maximum of $75.00 a month.
Mr. Smolik has been added to the electrical inspection force
and therefore the Committee recommends that the Council grant
this request.
