Hon. Council
City of Saint Paul
Gentlemen:
The Car Mileage Committee met in my office on Wednesday morning,

The Committee recommends that these names be added.
On August 2, 1962, a letter signed by Mr. Gran requested that Robert
Adams, Sheet Metal Worker, be added to C mileage list with $30 max-
imum, effective August 1, 1962. He is to replace William Looby, who
has resigned, and Mr. Looby, therefore, is to be removed from C mile-
age.
The Committee recommends the Council add Mr. Adams to C mileage and
remove.Mr. Looby.
Pg. 2 - Hon. Council
A letter dated August 2, 1962 from Mr. Gran requested placement
of Doublas Schwab, plumber, on C mileage, $30.00 maximum,
effective August 1, 1962 as he will replace Robert Bossard,
plumber, who is to be removed from C.mileage - $35.00 maximum.
The Committee so recommends.
Mr, Gran signed a letter on July 23, requesting a change in the
monthly C mileage plan maximum for Mr. George Edberg, Assistant
Superintendent of Secondary And Vocational Education from $45
per month to $25.00 per month, effective July 1, 1962.
The Committee recommends this change.
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC UTILITIES
A letter-from Commissioner Bernard T. Holland, July 26, requested re-
moval of Victor Longtin from C mileage - $32 maximum, effective
August 1, 1962 as Mr. Longtin has retired.
The Committee recommends this to the Council for favorable
action.
DEPARTMENT OF•PARKS AND RECREATION AND PUBLIC BUILDINGS
A request dated July 30, 1962 from Commissioner Frank L. Loss
for an increase in C mileage allowance from $65 to $75 maximum
for Mrs. Marjorie Vick, District Supervisor of Recreation,
effective September 1, 1962 was considered and is recommended
to the Council for favorable action.
Yours truly,
Alfr d H. Schroeder, Ch.
