Council City of Saint Paul Gentlemen: The Car Mileage Committee met in my office on Wednesday morning, August 8, 1962 and considered the following requests. SAINT PAUL PUBLIC SCHOOLS A letter dated August 6, signed by Mr. John M. Gran, Assistant Superintendent, requested removal of the following: Warren Panushka, Curric. Dir. From C Eff. 8 -20 -62 Judy Villaume, Helping Teacher From C Eff. 6 -8 -62 Gertrude Bouman, Helping Teacher From C - $40 Eff. 8 -27 -62 The Committee recommends that these names be removed, from mileage lists. The above letter also requested placement of the following on C Plan: Mrs. Genevieve Nelson, Coordinator of Curric. C -$25 Eff. 8 -13 -62 Della Johnson, Helping Teacher in Music C -$40 Eff. 8 -1 -62 Mrs. Jeanette Ward, Helping Teacher C -$40 Eff. 8 -1 -62 The Committee recommends that these names be added. On August 2, 1962, a letter signed by Mr. Gran requested that Robert Adams, Sheet Metal Worker, be added to C mileage list with $30 max- imum, effective August 1, 1962. He is to replace William Looby, who has resigned, and Mr. Looby, therefore, is to be removed from C mile- age. The Committee recommends the Council add Mr. Adams to C mileage and remove.Mr. Looby. Pg. 2 - Hon. Council A letter dated August 2, 1962 from Mr. Gran requested placement of Doublas Schwab, plumber, on C mileage, $30.00 maximum, effective August 1, 1962 as he will replace Robert Bossard, plumber, who is to be removed from C.mileage - $35.00 maximum. The Committee so recommends. Mr, Gran signed a letter on July 23, requesting a change in the monthly C mileage plan maximum for Mr. George Edberg, Assistant Superintendent of Secondary And Vocational Education from $45 per month to $25.00 per month, effective July 1, 1962. The Committee recommends this change. DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC UTILITIES A letter-from Commissioner Bernard T. Holland, July 26, requested re- moval of Victor Longtin from C mileage - $32 maximum, effective August 1, 1962 as Mr. Longtin has retired. The Committee recommends this to the Council for favorable action. DEPARTMENT OF•PARKS AND RECREATION AND PUBLIC BUILDINGS A request dated July 30, 1962 from Commissioner Frank L. Loss for an increase in C mileage allowance from $65 to $75 maximum for Mrs. Marjorie Vick, District Supervisor of Recreation, effective September 1, 1962 was considered and is recommended to the Council for favorable action.
