WHEREAS, Additions and Deductions which might provej�6,be necessary in the
= improvement described as the Construction of the Hamline Avenue Bridge over the
Short Line Road and the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad Company
right -of -way and tracks, Comptroller's Contract L 6137 -3, Johnson Bros. Highway
and Heavy Constructors, Contractor, have been provided for in the Specifications;
and

WHEREAS, It has been found necessary to make the following additions and
deductions:
ADDITIONS
1. Lower 18" x 85' carrier pipe for 6" water main 1.5' $ 512.75
2. Lower south abutment footing 1.83' S36.00
3. Change footing of Pier No. 3 173.05
Changes 1 thru 3 were due to the position of the 16" water main and N.S.P.
duct lines not being at location as shown in the plans.
4. Place reinforced concrete counterweight at the south end of
the first steel span from the south abutment
5. Change drainage structure No. 8 to manhole type 22+1 with
"D" type casting

WHEREAS, The total Addition is $2,253.1+8, now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the City of St.'Paul through its City Council approves the
foregoing Addition, made in accordance with the Specifications in the sum of
$2.,253.48; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That the proper City Officials be and:they are hereby
authorized and directed to charge the addition of $2,253.1+8 to P.I.R. Fund 3001,
L 6137 -3 and said Fund is to be reimbursed from Municipal State -Aid Project
Number 62- 11+5 -01.
The Commissioner of Public Works has agreed with the above named Contractor
that the sum of $2,253.1+8 is the correct - amount to be added to the above Contract.
