PAUL O NCIL NO OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK /CQUINCIORESOLUTION- GENERAL FORM WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Public Utilities has reported in accordance with Section 53 of the City Charter the existence of an emergency during the period from December 16th to December 31st, 1962 inclusive, which rendered necessary the employment of certain employees of the Water Department for more than eight hours per day or forty hours per week in doing the following work: (1) Repairing equipment, various stations. (2) Working extra shifts, various stations. (3) Installing service connections on new mains installed by contractor. (4) Driving country crew to and from work. AND WHEREAS, this emergency arose by reason of the following facts and circumstances: 1) Necessary to do work during low consumption hours. 2) Absence of employees on regular shifts. W 3) Necessary to make connections after day's work by contractor. On account of scattered work locations. THEREFORE, 13E IT RESOLVED, that the proper city officers are hereby authorited to pay the employees who performed such work in accordance with the provisions of the Council's Salary Ordinance, Ordinance No. 6446.
