RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing
Committee therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering
to the Department of Public Works, Bureau of Municipal Equipment, 891 North
Dale Street, Saint Paul, Minnesota, one International Harvester Model 1853 -FC
Bookmobile Body and Equipment, including'Chassis, to THE GERSTENSIAGER COMPANY
in accordance with City specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal
Bid #9067 of'said,The Gerstenslager Company at a contract price of $22,275.00.1 ?
such bid being the only bid and said The Gerstenslager Company being a
reasonable and reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is
authorized to draw up the proper form of contract therefor and the proper City
officials are hereby directed to execute said contract on behalf of the City
of Saint Paul.
