block bounded by Cedar, Tenth, Eleventh and Minnesota Sts., also

Randall's Addition, in accordance with plans approved November 15,
1962.

Dear Madam:
This is in the matter of the application of the Hillcrest Shoppi-tg- G�
for a permit to install and operate a 133 car
parking lot on property located on the block bounded by Cedar, Tenth,
Eleventh and Minnesota Streets and described as Lots 1, 5, 6, 7, 8,
10, 11, 12, Block 5, Roberts & Randalls Addition. The zoning is
Light Industry.
The subject property covers an entire city block and is the former
site of the Webb Publishing Company. It is proposed to remove a
part of the existing structures and utilize the site for off-street
parking. To the north is the Freeway right -of -way; east and across
Minnesota Street is the Public Safety building; south and across
Tenth Street is the St. Louis church and playground; west and across
Cedar Street is the Health Center.
The Traffic Engineer has approved the plan which meets the standards
for this type of facility. Field investigation discloses no basic
,objection.
In consideration of the above factors, the Board of Zoning recommends
the granting of the permit for a 133 car off-street parking lot on
the above described property in accordance with plans approved
November 15, 1962.
