"a SHED r • `''" CO NCIL RESOLUTION— C��:��`�?.is�.,�:�CSR �i` -;T�PUBLI PRESENTED BY 4 �; coMMISSIONE� RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of Saint Paul, that official cognizance hereby is taken and recorded of the extensive and consistently meritorius public service career of Douglas K. Baldwin, secretary of the Minnesota State Agricultural Society and general manager of the Minnesota State Fair, which distinguished career culminated on the 13th day of December, 1962, upon his summons from this life by Almighty God; that his death has caused incalculable loss to,this City and to the public generally as well as to the organizations he served so well and faithfully; that he was a man of demonstrated abilities possessed of an unusually high degree of personal and professional integrity and com- petence whose contributions to the people of Saint Paul and the State of Minnesota will be long and gratefully remembered; RESOLVED FURTHER, That in permanent recognition of the merits and great contributions of Douglas K. Baldwin, on behalf of the City of Saint Paul, this Council does award said Douglas K. Baldwin, posthumously, its gratitude and Award of Extraordinary Merit and authorizes hereby that'-thiis Resolution and award be recorded and main- tained among the permanent „,records of this Council.
