WHEREAS, Paragraph 1.63 of Section I of the General Specif` ii--a
cations applicable to all local impro ements awarded by
this Council, unless expressly waived provides, for the
purpose of enforcing the provisions o all guarantees in-
cumbent upon the Contractors, the ret ntion of a Reserve
Amount, for the period of one (1) yea from the date of
the Final Estimate, and
WHEREAS, the entire physical work on -'the following contract
was completed well over one (1) year ago, although the one
year period from the date of the final estimate has, as yet,
not expired, and no amount has been expended by the City
for any maintenance or repairs thereto, now therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Reserve Amount withheld on the following
listed project, be released at this time,
