WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul, Division of Pazks and Recreation, requests permission to enter into a�ant
aa eement with the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources; and
WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources has awazded Parks and Recreation $4,000.00 to assist
with mechanical control of Eurasian waternulfoil at Lake Phalen; and
WHEREAS, acceptance of this grant will allow the City to improve the primary recreational areas of the lake,
wildlife habitat and lake aesthetics; and
WIIEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.071 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there
are available for appropriation, funds of $4,000.00 in excess of those estimated in the 2007 budget; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor recommends that the following additions be made to the 2007 budget:
