RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held by and
before the Council of the City of Saint Paul, in the
Council Chamber of the Court House and City Hall, in said
City, as provided in Sec. 1.07, par. 2, St. Paul Legislative
Code, at ten o'clock A. M., on January 4, 1963, upon the
advisability and necessity of the repair, replacement, re-
modeling, or wrecking and removal of the two-family-dwelling
on Lot 9, Block 27, I.Warren & Rice's addition to Saint Paul,
according to the plat thereof recorded in the office of the
Register of Deeds of Ramsey County, Minnesota, also described
as No. 308 Sherburne Avenue, because said structure is re-
ported to be dangerous and unsafe to life, limb and adjoin-
ing property.

Gentlemen:
There•is a two family dwelling at 308 Sherburne Avenue, on East
19 feet of Lot 8 and West-20.33 feet of Lot 9, Block 27, Warren
And Rice's Addition to Saint Paul.
This is a two story frame structure, 24 by 60, over fifty per
cent damaged by fire.- Over half of the roof framing and almost
the entire east wall are ruined. The middle section is entirely
burned out.
The building is dangerous to life, limb and adjoining property
and should be wrecked and removed. Danger Notices have been
posted. The last known record owner is James Denery, 508 Endi-
cott on Fourth Building, Saint Paul 1, Minnesota.
Kindly institute condemnation action by setting a public hearing
date in accordance with Section 1.07 -2 of the Saint Paul Legis-
lative Code.
