In the Matter of condemning and taking an easement for the purpose of constructing
a public sewer for storm water purposes on, under and across the West 4 feet of the
East 7 feet of Lot 14, Bl6ok 1, Nelson Park from Scheffer Ave. to the alley in the
rear of said lot, also condemning and taking a temporary easement for construction
purposes on a strip of land 8 feet in width onthe west side of the above easement
and the East 3 feet of Lot 14 and the West 5'feet of Lot 15 in said Block 1, Nelson
Park from Scheffer Ave. to the alley in Block 11 Nelson Park'

The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is to condemn and take
an easement for the purpose of constructing a public sewer for storm water purposes
on, under and across the West 4 feet of the East 7 feet of Lot 14,Block 1, Nelson
Park from Scheffer Ave. to the alley in the rear of said lot, also condemn and take
a tempgorary easement for construction purposes on a strip of land 8 feet in width
on the west side of the above easement and the East 3 feet of Lot 14 and the West
5 feet of Lot 15 in said Block 1, Nelson Park from Scheffer Ave. to the alley in
Block 1, Nelson Park
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $400.00
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 8th day of
January, 1963 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A. M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Ball Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
